MINISTRIES

One of the primary functions of the church is to further the understanding of God, and what He holds for us. This is effectively done through the preaching and teaching of God’s Word – the Bible! The Bible is God’s revelation of Himself. Paul writes in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 the following:

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good action.”

This is at the heart of our teaching ministries. We offer a variety of ministries at Rockpoint Church. If you wish to obtain further information regarding any of our activities here, at Rockpoint Church, please contact us. Below, is a brief overview of each.

Adults

There is no such thing as too much time spent in the study of our Bibles. Our adult teaching ministries, conducted on-site, include Sunday School and a midweek (Tuesday evening) Bible Study. These study groups work through the Bible book-by-book and verse-by-verse. This allows us to present the full counsel of God to those in attendance. In addition to this, we include an off-site study at Central Bucks EMS in Doylestown, Pa.  This is held each Thursday afternoon at 5:00 p.m.  This, is open to the public to include first responders from all of the various service groups.  Our adult ministry is designed to strengthen Christian men and women in their faith and equip them for discipleship. The groups are vibrant and welcoming to all who earnestly wish to come to a better understanding of the Scripture. All on the premise that:

“Faith comes by hearing, hearing of the word of God.” (Romans 10:17)

Students

Young people are bombarded, daily, with a variety of influences. However, it is clear, much of that which relates to God, the Bible, and Christian faith has become harder and harder to come by. Our student ministries are centered in grounding young people in God’s Word. Students have the opportunity to weigh the evidence for the absolute truths found in the Scripture and compare them to the fleeting, and oftentimes misleading, information that surrounds them. If students are provided with solid educational materials, they can make informed decisions. That is our goal.

Children

We have a children’s area adjacent to our fellowship hall. It is clean and safe. Children’s church is held during the regular Sunday service. It includes Bible teaching and also a time of fellowship as well. We have future plans to start an AWANA Program (essentially children’s Bible Study) and Vacation Bible School at our site. We invite young families to join us and grow together in faith.
